In fact, after the reform and opening-up, Dongguan has always acted as the economic hinterland of Hong Kong, Guangzhou and Shenzhen. The simultaneous radiation of economic elements in three central cities and the self-development of local economy have caused a lot of human flow, material flow and capital flow, making Dongguan become the recognized international processing and manufacturing base, and creating the myth of "Dongguan cut-off, the world shortage". Relying on industrial manufacturing center and taking Hong Kong as the window, Dongguan International Convention & Exhibition Center should become an international exhibition base.

Introduction of Geography

Dongguan is located at south-central Guangdong Province, north-east of the Pearl River Delta, 50 km north from Guangzhou, 90 km south from Shenzhen, 47 miles away from Hong Kong and 48 miles away from Macao, becoming the unavoidable way of land and sea transport between Guangzhou and Hong Kong.
